While I was in The Dominican Republic over Christmas, I took the opportunity to read Michael Crichton’s book, The State of Fear. I wanted to get a pulse on those individuals openly debunking the myth of Global Warming as part of my research into the nature of the fear I see in my patients. The impressive data that Crichton had collected forms the grist of the story, however, the characters were under-developed. The guy never does get the girl, or even establishes much of a relationship with these nail painted, karate trained, law clerks come crime fighters of bogus not-for-profit environmental organizations run by Lawyers. Although there are many over-sensationalized moments scripted by this author of Jurassic Park, the Cannibals at the end only get their teeth into one very mis-led Hollywood reporter. Too bad, really, there were a host of other characters that should have been tied to the stake and bar-b-qued.
The thing that kept “gnawing” at me after reading the book, was that Crichton’s Characters could never hear the voice of reason that the Global Warming Myth was bunk even though the proof was laid out before them beyond a doubt. Maybe it would be that those same individuals would have to admit that the trusted UN, Al Gore and teams of Lawyers were running bogus environmental organizations and the characters were so attached to their false ego that it would mean admitting to more false scaffolding holding their matrix together than they were prepared to admit.
A lot seems to be accomplished by keeping the public in fear, and guilt, because there isn’t a shred of proof that we are destroying ourselves through our own Co2 emmissions. Crichton knows this, and proves it, unequivocally. If you don’t want to pick up the book, there is a wonderful YouTube video entitled, The Great Global Warming Swindle, that proves that there is no link that Co2 drives climate at all, man-made or otherwise and you can watch it in about 60 minutes instead of painfully unearthing it over 567 pages. But like Crichton, I am fascinated to find the same phenomena. Individuals are not willing or easily able to commit, out of knowledge, to the truth even when presented with the undisputed facts.
So I have to ask Why? And how is this linked to the matrix of disease I see in my Clinic? Recently, I had a Nurse tell me that she had chosen to vaccinate her child with Varicella to the exclusion of the other more prevalent vaccines like MMR and DPTP. When I asked why this one in particular, she told me her Doctor had informed her that while Chicken Pox is not remotely life threatening it allegedly “prevents Flesh Eating Disease” … yes, this is the latest mis-information coming off the streets. Having treated “Flesh Eating Disease” a couple of times, successfully, using the principles of Heilkunst, I am not sure how Streptococcus could ever be remotely prevented with the Varicella vaccine. I would love to see the science on this one. Maybe I can invite some of Crichton’s Cannibals over when these results come in.
In my efforts to ascertain if our reason has been wholly flushed down the perverbial toilet, I decided to ask my lovely friend and organic farmer, last week, what he felt about global warming and he let me know very pragmatically that, “it is a load of sheep shit!” In fact, he suspects the opposite phenomenon, “if anything, it is getting colder.” He went on to say, “Farmers have been witnessing weather for thousands of years without being concerned about 10 days of straight rain in January, or a Hurricane in August without jumping to conclusions even when their livelihood depends on it.” I don’t know about you, but I just feel better being around my farmer friends where pragmatism, reality, and the fundamental truths just seem to swim organically in their veins.
A week or so ago, I was walking down to the barn to show my young patient my horses. He had entertained himself so well during our 90 minute session that I had promised him the opportunity to “watch me” feed the horses a carrot. Unfortunately, he can’t do this himself yet, as he suffers severe allergies to furred animals. As we were walking, his Mom casually said, “I don’t know how, with all this rain this week, a person couldn’t believe in global warming?” I have to wonder how much the allopathic MMR booster shot, laced with Mercury and Thimerosal, that the child reacted to last year has to do with this same state of mind.
Is there a connection to the State of Fear? In Heilkunst medicine we term fear and ignorance as the Chthonic realm, which is literally defined as the beings of the underworld. From treating many patients suffering Chthonic realm fears, we are trained to know when these diseases are in our midst and what to do about them. Identifying the appropriate jurisdiction and sourcing the cause is part of every day diagnosis in a Heilkunst Physician’s Clinic. I once treated a little boy riddled with fear who suffered horrible nightmares and hung his teddy bears by the throat from the banister. He was terrified of his father. Autistic and Asbergers patients are also very often stuck in this matrix of perpetual terror. It is literally like being “possessed” by dark demonic entities with no working flashlight. Plain old every day garden variety anxiety is often the clue that fear and ignorance is having it’s way with us. If we’re stuck in fright/flight, we are not able to effectively operate from our seat of knowledge. We are easy controlled this way, as we seek the false, cold nipple of authority to guide us further off course.
The famous phrase scientia potentia est is a Latin maxim “For also knowledge itself is power” stated originally by Sir Francis Bacon in Meditationes Sacrae (1597), which in modern times is often paraphrased as “knowledge is power.” The phrase implies that with knowledge or education one’s potential or abilities in life will probably increase. It is also used as a justification for a reluctance to share information as some form of advantage can be gained through the use or manipulation of knowledge. It is possible that Bacon was paraphrasing Proverbs 24:5: “A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength.”
For now, I’m sticking close to my pragmatic Farmer friends. With them, I can enjoy the majesty of the unpredictable nature of weather and feel reassured that God’s divine signature is written into the face of the sun that I gaze at and the infinite wisdom of water vapor will save me. Now, I’ve got things to do!
