Like all of the transitional chronic miasms, cancer is a kind of hybrid between the two dominant miasms which are adjacent in the sequence. The bursting, explosive energy of sycosis in the Spring, and the decaying, destructive energy of syphilis in the heart of the Summer are the two parents which gave birth, so to speak, to the cancer miasm.

Cancer, in terms of its Allopathically-tracked stastics, is certainly a disease which can be considered on the same scale as an epidemic. And the “cancer” which Western medicine focuses on (ie the cancer tumour or cell) is just the tip of the iceberg of the deep, pervasive state of mind which cancer represents. Starting with this physical definition of cancer as the tumour, or the cell, we can see where this hybrid between sycosis and syphilis emerges as cancer — the rapid reproduction and metastatic spreading throughout multiple systems in the body is in line with the sycotic miasm, while the wasting away, dark destructive energy of the syphilis miasm makes up the other half of the equation.

In psychological and emotional terms, the cancer state of mind is one which is “resigned” — either from having given up from stress or disappointments in life, and just accepting that that is all one can expect from their life, or in terms of a weakness of will to counteract the stronger will power of their family or friends, and just accept what others have dictated for them. In anecdotal terms, nurses on cancer wards have often said that the cancer patients who actually express anger (at their condition, at their caretakers, etc.) are the ones most likely to survive. The typically sweet, polite personality of the cancer state of mind is usually tied to a prognosis of death. Similarly, others have referred to cancer as the only socially-acceptable form of suicide — the meaning of this sentiment gets to the heart of the idea of ‘resignation’, and the lack of ability to assert the unique needs of one’s core self, and may be the extreme negative polarity to the question of activating one’s true desire function. Another concept associated with this miasm is “the unlived life”, in this sense of a desire function left fallow and undeveloped.

Earlier stages of the cancer state of mind may include many anxieties, in the sense of a neurotic energy which can not find a natural avenue of discharge. One of the associated cravings in the cancer state of mind is for chocolate (sorry I have to be the bearer of bad news, my choc-aholic friends!), which is specific to this form of anxiety. It is often a very perfectionistic state of mind which drives one to engage with all manner of projects benefiting everyone else but I. The exhausted martyr is one picture you can think of in this context.

Other early stage signs of cancer can include certain types of headaches or migraines, as well as constipation. In fact, constipation is a great metaphor for understanding cancer at just about any level, in terms of a natural life process which is blocked, or even backed-up. People whose whole life is “constipated”, in terms of a lack of flow of development and forward movement, are just expressing cancer through a different avenue. Insomnia, particularly at around 4am is another key early sign to the cancer miasm.

As with all diseases, of course, there are many degrees and depths which one may show up in, and some people are just wading in the shallow end of the early stages, while others are drowning in the deep end. This very brief overview should start to give you a taste of how to recognize cancer at a variety of stages, but there is much more detail that cannot all be fit into a single post.

I’ll leave you with the general point about cancer, as I mentioned above, being essentially at epidemic levels, and touching virtually everyone who is currently alive. It is a state of mind so deeply woven into the fabric of our modern consciousness, that it is extremely difficult to step back and see it objectively in oneself, or in close family and friends. For those of you in Heilkunst treatment, you may have already experienced your increased ability to clearly “see” the state of mind of cancer, to the degree that any layers of it within you have already been annihilated during the treatment of your miasms. I welcome your  experiences in the comments below, to help further illuminate what this disease state of mind is like.

Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
Nat-m is overly serious, and tends to support one or another cause of social justice, which is really a projection of their own attempt to defend themselves from ever being hurt again by another. Grand political initiatives such as Socialism illustrate this principle extended out on a larger scale. They tend to suffer their grief in silence, not able to let go in front of anyone, with the exception of a single romantic partner or close friend who has been brought inside their inner “safe” zone. Even then, it is usually not even their true core self that is fully opened up, but still an outer layer of their persona.

A characteristic bad dream for Nat-m is of their house being robbed, as this represents an unwelcome outsider breaking in, and gaining access to their most valued, private, inner world. Even in waking life, you’ll find that they may be overly cautious about their house security system, as well as all kinds of efforts taken to ensure their annonymity and privacy in every aspect of their life. The privacy craze in terms of internet policies is fascinating to view from the point of view of the energy of this remedy state.
The physical symptoms of Nat-m include headaches (lots of congestion of the energy of uncried tears), as well as sinus infections originating at the site of the tear ducts. They are very sensitive to noise. Salt is a very strong craving in this state. The skin may be prone to dryness, and even significant cracks. They suffer from constipation, which is a combination of the dryness of this remedy, and the difficulty in letting go. They can often suffer insomnia, which is yet another form of having difficulty “letting go” of their daytime consciousness, into the uncontrolled world of sleep and dreams. Conversely, they may need to sleep excessively, as a mechanism for avoiding the intimacy and demand for emotional involvement of waking life. They may be very retentive of water, in parallel with holding onto all of their emotional hurts.
In treatment, it may be very difficult for the practitioner to get to really know the inner content of the patient, and can take quite a while for a relationship of trust to be formed. The idea of treatment itself, particularly on the emotional axis, will be perceived as a threat, and these patients will often be the ones who only bring a physical symptom in for treatment, but solidly block any attempt to explore the emotional realm. Thankfully, the remedy works to soften these patients up, who eventually start to open up, and allow their emotions as well as their treatment to flow.

• How can “forced medication” be medically or legally justified in a society that normally follows the principle of “informed consent”?
• Even if Hydrofluorosilic Acid provided the claimed benefits, wouldn’t there be much more cost effective, and accurate methods of delivering the correct dose to each individual who needed it? After all, putting it in the water doesn’t account for : the proportional body weight of each person to the dose they need relative to the amount of water each person drinks in a day (ie almost everyone will be overdosing or underdosing).
• Studies have shown that the benefits of fluoride treatment only occur from topical application, and not from ingestion. Why, then, would this ingestion method be selected?
• The ingestion of hydrofluorosilic acid has been linked to numerous health issues, including cancer of the bones and of the thyroid gland. Why are entire populations being exposed to this known toxin without their informed consent?
• The use of fluoride in children under 3 is contra-indicated. How can we keep it away from this age group, if it’s in the tap water?
• Why is the disposal of an industrial waste by-product being dumped into our water supply, instead of being disposed of properly?
• With the rates of cancer so high, why is a known carcinogen being added to the water?
• If a pea-sized quantity of fluoridated toothpaste is swallowed, it is recommended that the poison control centre is contacted immediately. What about the person who drinks large amounts of tap water every day? Why would it be assumed that that was OK?

These questions are just a small sample, but the key point here is to begin to really examine the so-called logic of the practice of water fluoridation.

Have you had to bring any of these issues up with your city council, and what sort of response did you receive?

The word “I” is the only word in the English language which cannot be learned by direct example — for example, if I am teaching a child to say “I am going to the store”, the correct response is to say “You are going to the store”, and vice versa. One of the classic indications of autism is an inability to correctly make such reversals, as the healthy birth of the ontic organization has been impaired.

The details of this pronoun reversal are simply an expression of the deeper function of the ontic organization, which is the source of our self-consciousness, and identity as a separate entity. It is what provides the human kingdom with a unique waking consciousness, which is not posessed by any of the other three kingdoms of nature (mineral, plant, and animal). This is why, incidentally, for the treatment of any domestic animal, the health issues of the human owner need to be addressed in conjunction, as the pet will be drawing on the ontic function of their master.

Another counter-example to help us understand the healthy function of the ontic organization is the disease of cancer. Of course, there are very significant physical aspects of treating an active case of cancer, but here I am talking about the state of mind which is at the root of the disease (as every disease is built on a unique state of mind). In the disease of cancer, the state of mind is one which eclipses the healthy function of the ontic, or the sense of self, and the eventual physical symptoms are a reflection of this unclear definition of the self, and its corresponding weak immune system. In both the prevention of cancer, as well as its active reversal, a good prognosis will always include a palpable shift in this underlying sense of self, and healthy emotional boundaries (the emotional immune system, so to speak).

This is also the key to a truly “early” diagnosis for prevention of cancer — the well-trained Heilkunst physician can diagnose and treat at this level long before any tumour has emerged out of this deeper cancer state of mind. The so-called “early” detection of tumours within the conventional system is actually quite a late stage in the game. This is one of many reasons that having an annual “physical” with the conventional MD is not nearly enough for attaining true health at the level of all four of our bodies.

The topic of cancer is quite broad, and there are many areas to discuss from a Heilkunst perspective. In this blog post, I would like to make a few comments about this presentation made at a TEDMED conference about a new cancer treatment protocol, ‘Tumor Treating Fields”.

As I wrote recently, there is an urgent need for a truly integrative system of medicine that intelligently brings different health care modalities together to work towards commonly defined goals of health which are focussed on the patient rather than on winning the ‘turf wars’ between the different modalities (with the biggest war occurring between conventional and alternative medicines).

Conventional medicine claims a monopoly over cancer diagnosis and treatment, and this is an unfortunate barrier to establishing a more successful system for patient survival and quality of life. The type of discovery presented in this TEDMED talk is quite promising, at least along the lines of providing a better quality of life for patients (as it creates little to no side effects), but needs to be further contextualized within a broader understanding of what cancer is in the first place.

This new method of ‘Tumor Treating Fields’ is non-invasive (in sharp contrast to the big three modalities of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy), and without side effects. This point alone is a great achievement in terms of the “miracles” of modern medical technologies, and is worthy of further development and integration into health care of cancer patients.

This is where this, and any, cancer treatment modalities (both conventional and alternative), need to be further understood within the context of the principles of Heilkunst in general, and its understanding of cancer in particular. The key point to start with, is that the conventional diagnosis of ‘cancer’ is only referring to the existence of cancer cells or tumors. The cancer cell or tumor is not the cancer disease, but rather only the manifestation of it. This is why the story in cancer that is heard so often is of cancer returning some time after the apparently successful treatment with whichever modality. The conventional definition of whether cancer was cured, or not, is reduced to a statistical definition of “no recurrence within 5 years of treatment”. Statistics, while interesting, are not able to define essential issues of health, disease, or cure.

The fundamental disease of cancer is both diagnosable and treatable even in the absence of any physical manifestations of tumors within the Heilkunst framework. All diseases, including cancer, fundamentally originate in a diseased state of mind, which will result in physical symptoms developing over time. Whichever method of cancer treatment succeeds in eliminating a cancerous tumor has not succeeded in curing the root disease of cancer, until this deeper state of mind has been reverted to a healthy state of mind. I certainly endorse the exploration and use of any treatment modalities for cancer tumors, such as this new “Tumor Treating Field” technology, but only within an enlarged context of a treatment philosophy which understands this deeper structural aspect of the disease of cancer as distinct from the physical symptoms.

This is the starting point for how we help cancer patients with Heilkunst at whichever level they would like — whether they are choosing to use Heilkunst in conjunction with conventional treatments, or if they have decided that they only wish to use natural medicine, the same underlying philosophy of treating the deeper structure of cancer is applied towards the goal of cure. Quality of life and longevity are some of the highest goals to strive for in cancer treatment, and this deeper structural understanding of the disease of cancer is the surest context to do this in, regardless of which modalities are chosen by an individual cancer patient.

Hand-in-hand with this concept comes the idea that there is no such thing as ‘localized’ disease — in other words, if someone says they have a “liver disease”, or a “kidney disease”, this is, strictly speaking, not correct. What they have, instead, is one or more diseases which are manifesting in symptoms in the liver or kidney. This is why the surgical removal of a supposed “diseased” organ does not actually remove the disease which caused the symptoms in that organ, and now the manifestation of that disease has no choice but to show itself through a different organ or bodily system. As one homeopath once said, you can prune the apple tree, but this won’t prevent it from growing more apples.

The exact same concept is true in the treatment of cancer — while it may be necessary in a given case to remove a cancerous tumour or affected organ, such a removal of the physical manifestation of the cancer does NOT cure the underlying cancer process, which is systemic. This is why the unfortunate story in so many cancer cases after the supposed “cure” (through a combination of surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy), is that sooner or later, the cancer usually returns — either in the exact same place, or in a new location. While any number of physical therapies are necessary and helpful in treating cancer, they cannot succeed on their own without also employing a treatment protocol which is working to address the underlying disease itself — the non-material root of the disease.

So, if disease is not material, then what is it? This is such a difficult concept for anyone in the Western world to grasp, where our implicit worldview for a number of centuries has presumed that the only thing real and knowable in the universe is matter — atoms and molecules, or even smaller building blocks which make up everything that there is. All diseases, within this worldview, are necessarily defined by a physical set of symptoms, and their causes by a material imbalance. Think of all the mental-emotional conditions, such as depression, which are now defined as imbalances in the brain chemistry.

At its root, what Dr. Hahnemann’s system of Heilkunst teaches, is that disease is an altered state of mind. Each disease originates in a uniquely altered state of mind, and is therefore cured by a remedy which contains that particular state of mind. Rather than using a generic remedy for “headaches”, each patient with headache is diagnosed based on their unique state of mind, and that remedy (which matches their state of mind) is the one which will be curative for their headaches.

This is also the basis for a true system of preventive medicine, as it is possible to identify and remove such a diseased state of mind before it has caused the formation of any symptoms. This is the reason that health is not simply defined as an absence of symptoms (which is a negative definition), but involves the unfolding of a positive state of mind involving multiple dimensions of our being.

So, here’s to your health, and not just to an absence of symptoms!

My friend and colleague, Helen Daniels, sent to me the most amazing video the other day. When I saw that it was originally aired on Mr. Rogers, I did a double take. It is one of the most beautiful depictions of mothers nursing their young that I have ever seen. I have had the pleasure of knowing a small number of healthy, natural women who are completely in flow, relaxed and at ease with nursing their babes. I have also been invited to help a small number of moms first latch their newborn in the initial stages of establishing nourishing wisdom. It is indeed an act of love, pleasure and intimacy!

It is fascinating to perceive the process of nursing from an Anthropological perspective (the study of Man) as therapeutically, we’re finding a huge link between the way a baby is nursed and the sad potential for neurotic behavior, including over-eating, later on in life.  Wilhelm Reich recognized that musculo-emotional armoring was much more profoundly entrenched in folks that had not wholly been held and nurtured by loving mothers and fathers.  I’ve treated a couple of foreign adopted babes who were bereft of attention and their little bodies were stiff and rigid even at the tender ages of 2 and 4.  It broke my heart!

I have worked with adults who suffer obesity and with Reich’s medical orgone therapy, we go back and re-enact “the crib scene” by having the patient lie down and reach out beseeching, imploring and crying for their mother.  It is interesting just how emotionally available this primal need is still active in the present.  There is absolutely no surprise to us to hear patients crying in pain, even in adulthood, at not having been held, heard or fed, except on a 3-4 hour schedule; a pathetic and sad oversight on the part of rigid educators for new parents in the 50s and 60s.  One woman I treated, cried out while clawing at the sheets that she is turning into an animal and could devour anything if she got it.  This is key to the oral block that causes her gluttonous behaviour today as when she does access food, she still can’t get enough.  Sad, but true for many.

Patients with swollen adenoids, chronic sore throats, abcesses, or thyroid issues are also suffering from blocked oral energy that needs to be addressed by a medical system which understands all the causes.  Chronic loquaciousness or “over-talking”, perhaps typical of your spouse, or mother-in-law, is just a symptomatic pattern often stemming from not being wholly heard, nourished or honoured in early childhood.  Unfortunately, most drugs or psychotherapeutics just palliate or suppress further this armoring that seemingly cements the orally blocked energy behind beliefs and patterns that just keep repeating themselves.  By exorcising – and believe me, it can feel like a spiritual exorcism at times – Reichian therapeutics (Medical Orgonomy) actually engaged the patient with the hidden but living content to be able to liberate the root cause.

Typical old fashioned talk therapy just further engages the patient with their intellect while they talk it all out.  This approach is limiting, as the patient and Clinician are wholly dependent on what the patient can recall of the past from memory. The intellect loves this, as it can only dwell in the past or project onto the future; it hates the present … especially the feeling.  The thing is that both patient and Clinician totally miss the proverbial boat as “the feeling” is the key to the release and remains locked behind the armoring and belief structure, never wholly liberated by all the yacking and intellectual looping.  In fact, the talk therapy is just prolonging the disease process and providing the illusion that content is being excavated, while both clinician and patient are seduced by the patterns of the past – they just end up going round and round “the feeling”, rarely causing a noticeable shift in the state of mind.  I know, because I treat a number of Psychotherapists!

As Heilkunstlers, we are typically able to dislodge the block in 3-4 visits with a combination of homeopathic medicine, regimen, and appropriate medical orgonomy techniques.  We bet Reich would be impressed with our results as he didn’t have homeopathic medicine at his disposal to cure the underlying disease states, or the capacity to simultaneously cleanse the bowel of all the unresolved … well … crap.  Yes, it is related!  We love that our therapeutics are nailing down this dimension for treatment; it is why we use the word “wholistic” to describe our clinic.  Where else can you go to get Naturopathy, Homeopathy, and Psychotherapeutics all under one shingle?  Or even with one clinician who knows and cares for your healing welfare en route to your path to cure?

I was reading Dr. Husemann and Wolff’s, The Anthroposophical Approach to Medicine when I came across this amazing passage regarding Cancer, Allergies and Auto-Immune diseases. It makes perfect sense that Allergies are the body’s inept attack on the outer world and AIDS, for example, is when the body attacks the inner world. Cancer just doesn’t care anymore, frankly. People suffering allergies often feel frustrated and angry, inconveniently sniffling, sneezing (displaced climax), and eyes itchy and watery. It is an attempt at warding off a perceived aggressor, the allergen. If one wants to ride this wave to the core, we know that allergies are often caused by the unexpressed rage towards the mother. Ouch!

Innocent allergies can also be a precursor to cancer which is the secondary “anergic” phase, which is really a lack of immunity to an antigen. This is the phase of resignation. The body recognizes the foreign cells or tumor mass, but doesn’t use any of it’s inflammatory tools to mount an attack. The feeling is encapsulated in the term, “depression” or the word, “whatever” that we now hear so often. It is interesting to note that when cancer is cured, through Heilkunst medicine, we actually get to see the initial allergen phase be invoked again. All the bacteria and toxicity comes to the surface to be effectively treated. Exciting huh?

You see we Heilkunstlers strive for expansive expressions of fever, sneezing, inflammation or anything wet, hot and juicy that indicates the body is becoming “excited” and exiting the sclerotic process. This is the process of buying into “life” by spontaneously emitting what comes up in the moment, simply because we can! We get pretty jazzed around Arcanum Wholistic Clinic when we watch our patients climb out of the pleomorphic cave of the disease process and start expressing mucus, heat, anger, grief, fear, guilt and resentment. Now we can apply our tools to address these active diseases and get ‘em out! Giddy up!

Unfortunately, if things reach the tertiary phase of self-destruction, the body will start to consume it’s own self through auto-immune disorders such as AIDS or flesh-eating disease. It is interesting that we have a whole arsenal to cure these diseases, but rarely will we be called in to do so at this phase. Often the persons with these diseases are beyond resignation, it is like they have bought the self-hate mandate and the sense of self, the “I”, is on a suicidal mission of self-destruction. It is torturous and sad to stand by and watch when you know you can apply the law of cure, addressing the cause, and truly aid the individual, enabling them to buy a ticket out of this spiralling matrix.

However, the self-love part is the toughest real-estate for these folk to buy, especially if it was never owned in the first place. Basically, if the state of mind doesn’t shift through remediation, the individual will sadly just re-infect themselves over and over again. In many cases it can take a year or two of regimen, principled medicine and Reich’s Character Analysis just to rise from the pit of utter self-persecution and self-loathing. In fact, this is the state of mind that contracted with the disease in the first place. Unfortunately, the very expensive and suppressive allopathic model of treatment will just poorly manage these individuals’ decline and more typically hasten their demise by destroying what little immunity they have left. Actually, the same disastrous protocol is thrown at Cancer too.

The Anthroposophical Approach to Medicine

The possibility of inflammation is an immanent function of

the human organism and can be understood only in connection

with its counterpart, sclerosis; in the same way, every human

being is capable of allergy. Without this capacity, he would not

possess the capacity for immunity; he would be anergic and

would be subject to another group of diseases: on the one hand,

the infections—foreign life that overpowers the organism; on

the other, the sclerotic diseases, particularly cancer. Recent

research shows increasingly that the cancer patient is in an

anergic phase; his immune system is not in a position to

“recognize” the foreignness of the cancer cell. In any case, this

situation results in the destruction of the organism of the “self

by the dominance of foreign formations (bacteria, viruses,

cancer cells, mineral deposits).

This shows that health is a state of equilibrium and does not

consist in the absence of a reaction. Hyperergy and anergy are

the polar deviations from the healthy state and both are

pathological.

From this we can draw the therapeutically important

conclusion that an excess may safely be limited, but a further

displacement—for example, in the direction of immuno-

suppression— must promote the opposite disease tendency, in

this case, especially infection and cancer.

It may be surprising that infection and cancer are considered

together here, whereas infections are usually grouped with the

inflammatory diseases, which stand in polar opposition to

cancer. The present classification applies only to immuno-

deficiency, which is under discussion here, and for the atypical

disease course resulting from it. In the “healthy” course of an

infectious disease, fever appears along with antibodies, leuko-

cytes, etc. These reactions are the expression of an intact

immune system and ideally result in healing. When the immune

system is not functional, however, foreign substances (bacteria.

viruses) overwhelm the organism, because it is too weak to

defend itself. Fundamentally, the same process occurs in cancer,

although in this case the cancer patient does not defend himself

against the bodily cancer tissue because he is blind” to it and

cannot “recognize” it as foreign. In a certain respect, the auto-

immune diseases represent the opposite of this situation; the

organism senses itself or parts of itself as foreign and acts

against itself with inflammation, which ultimately leads to

dissolution and destruction.

We have seen that the organic capacity to react allergically

is not only the basis for higher functions, but also the

expression of constitutional health. Beyond this, however, this

reaction fulfills another task, which we shall describe.

In principle, an allergy can exist or develop toward any

substance; most often, however, it is protein or protein-like

substances. This is understandable in the light of our description

above of the essential nature of protein, since the etheric and

astral bodies of the particular animal, for example, live in its

protein; in man, protein is the carrier of his individuality. The

sense for the “recognition” of such a substance as “foreign.” that

is, the sense for self and non-self, can only be the sense for

preservation of one’s own self from becoming foreign.

Here we have the significance of the fact that protein is the

substance most thoroughly broken down in the gastrointestinal

tract and that nothing of its essential quality is taken into the

organism. If this mucosal boundary of the gastrointestinal tract

is transgressed, then an allergic reaction sets in to make up for

the missing breakdown of foreign protein on another level; so it

is really a form of self-preservation. The fact that this reaction

in excess (anaphylactic shock) can lead to destruction of the

individual does not contradict its fundamentally higher purpose.

If the reaction is suppressed repeatedly or for a long time,

however, then the organism loses the ability to recognize

foreign material, which is the case in cancer, or it forms foreign

protein as its own body substance. Then the human being can

no longer live properly as “I” in his organism; it has become

foreign to him, and it is no longer possible for the spirit to

unfold in accordance with the ego.

I was deeply struck by my own experience of this plight of the intellect to not know the deeper meaning behind the functional nature of illness. If you have a tumor, the Allopathic Doctor, will over-recommend surgery and some form of chemical warfare. However, he will not ask you why you feel you’ve chosen the path of “the un-lived life” or why you may “rescue others to the exclusion of yourself” as a function of your evolution. He also won’t suggest that your beliefs be looked at so that a re-infection can be avoided.

If I never saw illness, I would not know that fever in a child produces the most amazing growth spurt afterwards. I’ve witnessed Autistic children speak for the first time after a bout of a healthy fever. I’ve listened to many women, who have come off their anti-depressants, tell me they feel they’ve missed years of feeling any of their emotions. One women cried at a movie for the first time in twenty years after she stopped taking the pill. I had one fellow, during Heilkunst treatment, quit his job, leave his wife and strike out as an Art Consultant as he resolved his cancer state of mind. En route, though, he had many bouts of tears and anguish.

As a Heilkunst Physician, we have now come to the heretical understanding that a child has childhood diseases in order to become healthier. It is evident that without this function, the child cannot easily or effectively accomplish the complete adaptation process to fully enter the adult order. Without this capacity to navigate through the adversity of illness, he can not wholly learn to discern the promise of continual change without pause and suffering.

Tylenol and Vaccines suppress this spiritual mapping to becoming a whole, generative and creative being in the face of healthy adversity at a time in their lives when they are meant to develop this function. The Allopathic model simply can’t take the heat!

Summarizing in conclusion, H. Muller-Eckhard says:
“Every childhood disease has a meaning and an immanent
function that can become active in many directions. Quite often a
childhood disease is an irreplaceable help in life, which the child
cannot do without in many situations on the difficult journey out
of his magic and mystical state of consciousness into the world of
the crass reality of the adult order. In all the well-meant protective
immunization against childhood diseases, especially against those
involving desquamation (the shedding of the outer layer of a surface), one thing seems to have been forgotten: with the childhood diseases that are “eliminated,” and whose appearance and arising is made impossible, the active and wholesome functions of these diseases are also taken from the child.”

In fact, Harris Coulter has even linked the criminal element to the suppressive nature of vaccines in his book, Vaccination, Social Violence and Criminality. I, too, had the toughest time shifting my own paradigm. Crawling out of my son’s own Autistic spectrum paradigm was the vehicle to knowing that the function of childhood illness is absolutely critical to a human being’s development. And with Heilkunst medicine, all of this can be accomplished without suffering or harm to the child.
