A few years ago, a very beautiful woman had first came in to see me for various complaints, including a sore neck, joints, migraines, chronic constipation and pain during intimacy.  A month later, she came back to see me for her routine follow-up and cited that I was a miracle worker as every one of her symptoms were completely gone.  She accredited it to the homeopathic remedies.  I smiled, knowing  that the quick results were more attributed to the increase in her daily water consumption.  She had replaced her 18 weekly coffees with about 2.5 litres of water!  It is amazing to me that most folks are actually chronically dehydrated and that technically, they don’t really qualify for medical remediation until we’ve assessed what percentage of their medical issues have to do with faulty regimen, especially dehydration.

It is still amazing to me how many folks still believe that other beverages like juice, milk, coffee and tea qualify as hydration.  Countless women have pleaded with me trying to justify herbal teas as a form of hydration.  Sadly, I’ve served countless children who hate the taste of pure water because it has always been sweetened and watered down with juice.  When a patient is unknowingly suffering dehydration I will explain that if a beverage contains too many TDS (total dissolved solids), then the body will read it and understand it as “food”, rather than water – no exceptions!

The body is constituted of around 70-80% of a jelly-like material that resembles the primordial ocean.  This mesenchymal layer, or the part of the embryonic mesoderm, consisting of loosely packed, unspecialized cells set in a gelatinous ground substance, from which connective tissue, bone, cartilage, and the circulatory and lymphatic systems develop.  We are mostly just congealed sea water, with a titch of minerals thrown in for colour, and we’d do well to bathe our innards to precisely the same degree that we bathe our outer chassis.

If you think about it, planetary systems have an orbit that they adhere to based on gravitational pull.  Our bodies, too, rely on dynamic, mass-free forces possessing a fluid-crystal structure which is sub-divided into different levels of density, frankly, to hold us together.  Physics states that the density of this fluid body is proportional to the density of any physical substance occupying the area of space that it is concerned with.  For example the watery domain will increase around large bodies such as stars and planets, acting as a refracting medium, affecting the speed of the propagation of light.  This medium is relied upon for conveying electromagnetic forces while adhering to the theory of relativity.  Rudolf Steiner stated, “As above, so below.”

You may be asking yourself, what the heck does this have to do with the 2-3 litres of water I’m supposed to chug down per day?  Well, I’m getting there.  Try to bear with me for a quantum second or two!  Quantum field theory states that all fundamental fields, such as the electromagnetic field, must be anchored at each and every point in space (including our bodies).  A field in physics may be envisioned as if you could see space filled with interconnected vibrating balls and springs (Reich’s orgone energy).  The strength of the field affects the displacement of a ball from its rest position.  If you like, read that last statement, again, and just let it congeal as an etheric impression on your watery body for a moment.  The theory requires for “vibrations” in, or more accurately changes in the strength of, such a field to propagate as per the appropriate wave equation for the particular field in question.  The second quantization of your quantum field requires that each of the ball-spring combinations be allotted a quantized (a measurable pole of strength) depending on its capacity to act as a harmonic oscillator, pulsation with excitation form the field corresponding to its elementary particles in space.  Crazy stuff huh?  That’s what I thought too!

Our bodies can only be attuned to energetic excitations from the universe, then, to the degree that it is able to shift, amble, contract, displace  and expand its harmonic oscillator … its watery body!  Even the vacuum theory cites a vastly complex watery structure and all calculations of the quantum field theory must be adjusted to the degree that certain bodies in the field are able to oscillate at stronger frequencies than others.  When you “distill” this all down, you will clearly see why my patient was able to resolve her ills simply by drinking more water.  She created motility where stasis was formerly beginning the stiffening, sclerotic processes just by propagating her “wave equation”.  Can you imagine how much fun I am to invite to your cocktail party?

Disease is a function of being cut off from “the big field” of communication, otherwise known as the domain of well … God.  The intellect, unhooked from its watery etheric impressions, has mostly mired us in matter, or salt!  The Genotype Silicea (the most intellectual of all of the Homeopathic Constitutions) will often display a strong preponderance towards the phenotypical state of grief or feelings of perpetual disappointments in love and romance otherwise known as Natrum Muriaticum.  These folks generally live in the past, just as Lot’s wife did feeling alienated and cut off from themselves and the Initiates of the higher domains as per Rudolf Steiner.  It is no accident, that the homeopathic remedy for grief, or living out of the past is Natrum Muriaticum, the Latin term for salt.  Protracted grief, over time, may start out producing emotional armoring, hardening of the attitudes, stiffness in the joints, constipation (holding on to old … um … shit) tumors, fibroids, cancerous growths and if the sclerotic effects are left untreated the final stage is rigamortis.  If you slice open a tumor, you will find it largely comprises a big ball of acidic sodium chloride in addition to other toxins.  This, really, is a hardened representation of the patient’s hardened and rigidified past.  The disease of Cancer was Lot’s wife’s lot in life!  Now, try saying that 10 times fast!

The astounding properties of 2 hydrogen molecules and 1 oxygen molecule forms the only substance in nature to be labile and flexible enough to be able to respond to varying temperatures.  Miraculously water will harden to ice, flow like a river, or vaporize like your breath on a Wintery day in January north of the 49th parallel.  Folks with the Cancer state of mind, generally feel chilled regularly with extremities like ice, while folks who are more healthy and orgastically potent create a renewable source of flowing warmth and heat.  You will notice it in their bright eyes, smooth, soft skin, and their open smiling face.  While pure pH balanced water is not a good conductor of electricity, the TV show “Myth Busters”  threw radios, hair dryers and electric heaters into bathtubs to confirm, or myth-bust, whether these things will really kill you or not. The electric heater released so much energy that it turned the dummy to charcoal and exploded the bathtub into a hundred pieces! It was hilarious.  Of course, it would be tragic if it were a person; but when it’s a dummy, it’s ROTFL funny, as my kids would say.  It is of interest to note that only contaminated city water will produce these results, picking up every current introduced to it!

If your mesenchymal layer is mostly salty, acidic and littered with contaminates, leaching potassium and creating a super-saturated domain, just imagine how you may be limiting your capacity to be quantized and vibrating to receiving quantifiable messages from The Field.  If most folks are actually dehydrated and potentially rigidifying from their own toxicity, what does this mean for their capacity to pick up resonant “vibrations?”  Wilhelm Reich, a Psychotherapist was originally Freud’s most favored student, until he recognized that the body’s capacity for orgonotic vibrations introduced through a device called an orgone accumulator was destroying cancer cells and producing more orgastically potent individuals.  A simple harmonic oscillator, quantization, produces excitations of the field corresponding to the elementary function of the orgasm.  What a concept.  Now you know the deeper reason why my patient began to enjoy pleasurable sex with her husband again.  I recall her exclamation that during that first month, after introducing proper water regimen, that her libido returned with full thrusters and that she hadn’t had that much delicious sex in years!  Giddy up!

In the teachings of Theosophy, Devas (powerful Devine powers) are regarded as living either in the atmospheres of the planets of the solar system (Planetary Angels) or inside the Sun (Solar Angels) (presumably other planetary systems and stars have their own angels) and they help to guide the operation of the processes of nature such as the process of evolution and the growth of plants (etherically, watery imbued organisms); their appearance is reputedly like colored flames about the size of a human being. It is believed by Theosophists that Devas can be observed when the third eye is activated. Some (but not most) Devas originally incarnated as human beings.  It is believed by Theosophists that nature spirits, elementals (gnomes, ondines, sylphs, and salamanders), and fairies can be also be observed when the third eye is activated.  While this capacity is mostly a function of an older consciousness, it is maintained by Theosophists that these less evolutionarily developed beings have never been previously incarnated as human beings; they are regarded as on a separate line of spiritual evolution called the “Deva evolution”; eventually, as their souls advance as they reincarnate, it is believed they will incarnate as Devas.  All this to say, that these beings possess etheric bodies (but no physical bodies) that are composed of etheric matter, a type of matter finer and more pure that is composed of smaller watery particles than ordinary physical plane matter.  So it all goes to say that if we are suffering an internal desert, we may be bereft from experiencing the salvation of a healthy mind, body and spirit.  Our oasis in the physical enables communion with our etheric body where we render impressions on this watery domain, suck up the impressions into consciousness and render them anew through inspiration, imagination, and illumination.  This process is only the function of human consciousness and if we are too dry and dehydrated, we remain mostly mired in matter imprisoned in our own salt.  Sadly we’re doomed to looking back with Lot’s wife.  Did the poor girl even have a name?

In Dr. F. Batmanghelidj’s profoundly accurate book, “Your Body’s Many Cries For Water,” he states, “When the human body developed from species that were given life in water, the same dependence on the life-giving properties of water was inherited. The role of water in the body of living species – mankind included – has not changed since the first creation of life from salt water and its subsequent adaption to fresh water.”  The human body has a major problem with its normal water regulation, caused by a gradual loss of thirst sensation. If you do become thirsty, it is too late, you’ve already become dehydrated.  Humans seem to lose their thirst sensation and the critical perception of needing water. Not recognising their need for water, they gradually become increasingly and chronically dehydrated with the progress of age. Batmanghelidj went on to advise Physicians that recognizing thirst signals of the body will undoubtedly produce complicated problems in the present way of treatment of these conditions. It is all too easy to assume these signals are complications of a serious disease process and begin to treat signal-producing dehydration with complicated procedures. Although water by itself will alleviate the condition, medications or invasive diagnostic procedures may be forced on the person. It is the responsibility of both patients and their doctors to be aware of the damage that chronic dehydration can cause in the human body. Dr. Batmanghelidj was very clear when he said, “These chronic pains include dyspeptic pain, rheumatoid arthritis pain, anginal pain (heart pain on walking, or even at rest), migraine and hangover headaches, colitis pain and its associated constipation.  The “view shift” dictates that all these pains should be treated with a regular adjustment to daily water intake. No less than two and a half quarts (two and one half litres) in 24 hours should be taken for a few days prior to the routine and regular use of analgesics or other pain-relieving medications.”

In closing, maybe think about the principles of quantum physics illustrated above and how they relate to cosmic wisdom that holds the planets in the cosmos (above) in conjunction with your body (below) in good physical and  spiritual equilibrium.   When we drink water, depending on the volume of water that enters the stomach, a hormone/neurotransmitter called “motilin” is secreted. The more water we drink, the more motilin is produced by the intestinal tract and can be measured in blood circulation (immune function or ontic, sense of the self). The effect of motilin on the intestinal tract, as its name implies, is to produce rhythmic contractions (Reich’s orgonotic pulsations) of the intestines – peristalsis – from its upper parts to its lower end. Part of this action would involve the timely opening and closing of the valves (labile flexibility also indicative of a labile state of mind) that are in the way of flow (watery formation) of the intestinal content (and the function of the orgasm). Thus, when there is enough water in the body for all the digestive processes that depend on the availability of water, the pancreas (the organ that metabolizes the sweetness in life) will produce its watery bicarbonate solution to prepare the upper part of the intestinal tract to receive the acidic content of the stomach. Under such ideal circumstances, the pyloric valve is also allowed to open (open on emotional level, think of acid reflux or indigestion) for the evacuation of the content of the stomach. Motilin has a major “transmission” role in co-ordinating this action. Motilin is a satiety hormone secreted when water extends the stomach wall.  Ah, relaxation.  All is well that ends well!  When operating in concert, we are able to transmit, receive and radiate information, beyond the veil, anchored to the measurable quantum divide.

The stories illustrating prayer received and held by the physical properties of  water, really elevates us from the mundane and mechanical view of life up into the cosmic, spiritual Pleroma.  I loved the story about the man, orphaned as a boy, who intuitively wandered strange lands until he bent to sip at a pool of water that restored memories of his family and his childhood home.  It is equally astounding to watch the scientists unravel, before your eyes, the measured and proven truths about how the intention of “Love” can be captured as an organized “snow flake-like” structure of the most beauteous form in a droplet of water.  You will also see, under that same high powered microscope, how the words “you idiot” create chaos and disturbed images also on the tableau of the water, confirming that the the negative thoughts perpetuated by karma can have long term devastating consequences on an organism.

While this is all valuable knowledge, perhaps stretching the imagination, I would like to try to show how the etheric, watery domain of man is influenced by medicine. I will try to show, simply, that water can be the medium to purvey homeopathic intentionality from outside our selves, and how this informed remediation actually impresses its curative action on our watery etheric body effectively  influencing our human organism in a different way from the merely material.  For if I tell you that, “I love you,” with true intention, if receptive, you will receive an impression on your etheric body, and even a resultant physical sensation dispersed by your own etheric body through auricular channels or waterways to the level of your skin;  all that motility occurs in that primordial ocean sloshing around bathing your bones!

Rudolf Steiner expounds on the properties the  watery etheric domain housed under our skin and how it permeates all of life,

The etheric body has approximately the size and form of the physical body, so that it practically fills the same space. It is an extremely delicate and finely organized structure. Now, the particles of the etheric body are in continual motion. Countless currents stream through it in every direction. By these currents [meridians], life itself is maintained and regulated. Every body that has life, including animals and plants, possesses an etheric body. Even in minerals traces of it can be observed. These currents and movements are, to begin with, independent of human will and consciousness, just as the action of the heart or stomach is beyond our jurisdiction, and this independence remains unaltered so long as we do not take our development in hand in the sense of acquiring supersensible faculties.

It is important to note, here, the logos language used to describe the primordial ocean within, the etheric body; currents, movements, maintained, regulated, and finely organized.  What you may notice is that the etheric body is not only  structured, but also motile at the same time.  It is a polarity.  The etheric body, in fact, defines the entire level of health of our organism, keeping it labile and flexible within an ordered environment, just like water bubbling up from an artesian well or over the crest of the Himalayans.  The opposite state of disease is depicted in the sclerotic, static and rigid state en route to the ultimate end; rigor mortis [Latin : rigor, stiffness + mortis, genitive of mors, death.]! If you watch the film, you will see how every right angle in city pipes carrying water to offices and homes is diminished of its life energy.  The sludge-like nature of pollution with chaotic crystals may even cause you to feel grief, anger and fear.

If we stop to define health as per Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, we start to piece together how this moving labile etheric current keeps us in harmonious, vital operation “In the healthy human state, the spirit-like force (autocracy), that enlivens the material organism as dynamis, governs without restriction and keeps all parts of the organism in admirable, harmonious, vital operation as regards both feelings and functions, so that our indwelling rational spirit can avail itself of this living healthy instrument for the higher purposes of our existence.”  Again, just notice the language depicting this state of being: harmonious, spirit-like, governs, vital operation.  It also feels very much how we describe the etheric body above.  There is that polarity of structure and motility again, structured just like healthy, life-giving water.

Health is related to the etheric body as illness is to the astral body (airy element or desire/fulfillment) and death to the ego (warmth organism, ontic or sense of self). This becomes ever clearer and clearer on spiritual investigation as per Rudolf Steiner,  “To heal, to restore health, means to be able to create in the etheric body counter-reactions to the processes that produce illness and that proceed from the astral body. One must work from the etheric body in order to paralyze the forces of the astral body, which are the processes producing illness.  Then there is a fourth factor. This is, in a certain way, the polar opposite of death. I must point out first that we can perceive death entering the human being concretely when his whole inner organization has become so physical (absence of spiritual lability) that no nutritive process, no really effective nutritive process, can be introduced anymore. This is death from old age. Death from old age is actually the inability of the organism to absorb substance. Usually this phenomenon cannot be fully observed because ordinarily the human being dies of other causes before it sets in, rather than of this bodily demise in its pure form. Ultimately, the currents dry up and impressions from nature, whether sourced from thought or substance,  can no longer penetrate the human being on the watery domain.  That is why you may hear us describe the disease process in terms of armoring, sclerotic tendencies or in Wilhelm Reich’s terms, The Cancer Biopathy, “Since everything is antithetically arranged, there must be two different types of single-celled organisms: (a) life-destroying organisms or organisms that form through organic decay, (b) life-promoting organisms that form from inorganic material that comes to life.” This idea of spontaneous generation led him to believe he had found the cause of cancer. He called the life-destroying organisms “T-bacilli,” with the T standing for Tod, German for death. He described in The Cancer Biopathy how he had found them in a culture of rotting cancerous tissue obtained from a local hospital. He wrote that T-bacilli were formed from the disintegration of protein; they were 0.2 to 0.5 micrometer in length, shaped like lancets, and when injected into mice, they caused inflammation and cancer. He concluded that, when orgone energy (life energy) diminishes in cells through aging or injury, the cells undergo “bionous degeneration,” or death. At some point, the deadly T-bacilli start to form in the cells. Death from cancer, he believed, was caused by an overwhelming growth of the T-bacilli.

You may be able to discern from this excerpt that disease is an engendered state, an impregnation of the etheric body.  Cancer for example just hijacks the motile etheric currents, arresting its promotion, and starts to reproduce, at an alarming rate, “bionus degeneration” for its own use.  The anatomy of a tumor is an accumulation of deadly orgone energy.  In essence, it hijacks the mission for life-giving ideas, creativity and harmonious operation, circumventing it, depriving it of life, anaerobically squashing the breath right of each watery cell.  That is why cancerous T-bacilli can not metabolize water, heat or light and while the patient may be drinking lots of life-giving water, or sitting in the sun regularly, the organism simply can’t absorb it.  The cells become hardened by their attitude of resignation.

To cure disease means that you need to cure on the level of the etheric body.  On the basis of the law of resonance, this must be done on the homeopathic principle of the law of cure, “Like Cures Like.”  As in the movie Water Science, I know that I can deliver information to water simply through conscious thought.  This is the harnessing of Christ-consciousness and spooks the dickens out of the traditional, material and mechanical scientist, but not anymore.  If you watch Water Science, you will see one of those scientists, Dr. Emoto (Messages From Water), actually prove that the crystal formation in water is categorically different for music played to it by a recording by Bach than by Mozart.  If I tell you that, “I Love You,” or “Arnica 1M” prescribed for bruising or exhaustion, I am providing an arcane impulse, harnessed by thought or the logos and if received by your etheric, primordial ocean, on the basis of lawful prescribing, I will cure your disease without causing an ounce of harm. Look Mom, no hands!

Water Science is a testament to our burgeoning consciousness into spiritual science and Heilkünst provides a way to structure this domain and harnessing her Sophia-imbued wisdom.  Through refined nature delivered on the basis of law, in order to cure the process of rigidity incumbent with disease, we can restore the particles of continual motion in the watery etheric body so that the source of all of life is once again in flow, maintained and wholly regulated.

Rudolf Steiner was right on the mark when he said, “as above, so below.” We know that our colons share the same “atmosphere” as our brains.  Dr. Gershon recognized that Serotonin, the chemical that helps to renew us primarily through inducing healthy sleep, is actually propelled out of the colon.  Dr. Gershon wrote a book called The Second Brain which does a superb job explaining why the gut muddies the brain and nervous system if our digestion is distorted by disease and related conditions.

If you consider that 8-9 litres of water bathes the large intestine daily, extracting the last of the minerals and salts from our fecal matter before it exits the rectum, we start to clue in to how the toxins are also subject to this permeable wall and end up in our mesenchymal layer (we are 80% sea water).  With this in “mind,” we start to clue in to the fact that  the brain sits in this same fluid.  Only 6-7 tablespoons of water exit our bodies at one time with stool, so if we starve our system of the amount of pure water we need to consume every day, we are really creating a primordial mucky soup around our brain and organs from our own “undigested” shit!

When folks introduce probiotics, practice proper elimination techniques, eliminate processed grains and sugars from their diets, eradicate the diseases, including the heavy metals – voila! – they think better, are less nervous, and their focus becomes stellar.  Autistic children generally crave sugars to feed the yeasts and foci infections found liberally in the gut that coat the heavy metals (the yeast actually function to prevent heavy metal poisoning).  That is why it is absolutely imperative that chelation be done on the basis of principle and knowledge, which Heilkunstlers are wholly trained in, as you don’t want to trip the system to release the toxicity in the gut too fast, or you end up with a die-off nightmare.  Through principled medicine, the sugar cravings just slow, and the healthy relationship between the two brains is restored.

I just spoke with a new patient 5 minutes ago about drinking more water.  I had just typed his blood and noted how reluctantly it flowed to the surface after the wee prick to the tip of his finger.  When I asked him how much water he drank, he pronounced “not very much.”  He said if he were to drink, he would need to add a little sugary rose flavour from a syrup he gets from his local East Indian store.  While I agreed with him that this sounded delicious, I let him know that the syrup would actually change the molecular structure of the water rendering it more as food than pure water.  The body is made up of 80% sea water, and minerals (Sodium Salts, Calcium and Magnesium).  The molecular structure of water, which we know is 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen, is optimumally absorbed by the mesenchymal layer in our bodies and in turn nourishes the cells with it’s “expanding” quality.  Think about it – it is only a combination of two gases that make up this unique liquid which makes up more of our earth than land mass.  It is also the source for all living things.

Water has the capacity to hold in its etheric body the pollutants from a lake, loving words as an intention, words of hate and anger as well as homeopathic remedies.  The science of homeopathy is really about spreading the message of a plant, mineral, or animal source over a larger surface tension, such as water; by introducing it to your body, its slightly stronger energetic message temporarily eclipses the natural disease in your mesenchymal layer.  Because the body represents about 80% of you, the rest of your mineral body succumbs, saying, “Ok – let’s go with the largest voting body!”  The ocean in you is informed – it knows! Rudolf Steiner called this the etheric body and it is where all sense impressions are born.  Consciousness is actually the result of the etheric imprints on your watery domain.  So it doesn’t take much to realize what happens to this process in a dehydrated person.

Dr. Batmanghelidj talked about “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water”, where he illustrates his experience in the penal system and offering the inmates nothing but pure water.  He then documented resolutions to the men’s suffering of symptoms such as chronic headaches, digestive issues and even arthritis.  So much can be resolved simply by the person drinking more water. Dr. Gershon, in his book, “The Second Brain” describes how between 8-9 litres of water per day from inside our bodies bathe the large intestine of the last of the salts and minerals before that stool leaves the rectum.  If that water is unreplenished or “dirty,” this water is what our eyes, organs, heart and sex organs sit in.  Why not keep it as squeaky clean as possible?

I served one woman who drank about 35 cups of coffee a week and less than 1/2 a cup of water per day.  More than three quarters of her symptoms cleared up by reversing the ratio.  Most folks don’t realize that you need about 32 cups of water to neutralize the acid from consuming just one cup of coffee.  Also, in Europe, coffee is always served with at least a cup of water, and you thought they live longer because of all the wine they drink.  Actually, it is because of the sex … but that is another article entirely!

So where do you get the best drinking water in the world?  The Himalayas would be a great start.  A mountain stream untouched by pollution, flowing and moving over rocks that mineralize, naturally neutralizing acid, and pH’d balanced.   Perfect!  Before selling your house and moving to Tibet to become a serious water drinker, you can do a lot with proper filtration and then the key is to re-mineralize your water.  One option for the typical suburban situation is the Nikken water filtration system. In terms of the “living” quality of water and minerals in the water, it tested much higher than bottled or local tap water.  The other thing you can do is actually find a rock in nature that you resonante with and put it into your glass of water.  I’ve done this with rocks from the Canadian Shield, amethyst from Northern Ontario, quartz from Quebec and then I’ve observed how I feel.  The effects are varied and interesting.  Give it a try.  The principle is to find the most “alive water” available to nourish our very alive bodies.

The other thing to note, as per Dr. Sax in his book Boys Adrift,  is that plastic bottles are estrogenic (produce estrogen in the consumer).  He cites that near dump sites in the Washington, D.C. area and the State of Florida that male fish are taking on female attributes and spawning eggs.  Male alligators in the swamp lands of Florida are showing shrinking testicles.  He also cites that the education system is geared to spawning more female teachers and that the additional estrogens could be feminizing our boys and men.  In our clinical observations, the passive feminine male as a character type is becoming a more prominent phenomenon, and is partially connected to drinking out of plastic bottles.
