In the case of the homeopathic remedy fluoric acid, it is one of a number of ‘pathic’ remedies (symptom expression) related to the deeper ‘tonic’ remedy (underlying, deeper cause of disease itself) known as Syphilis. The Syphilis miasm’s main characteristics are : destruction; erosion; deviousness; amorality; and complete disconnection from life. A brilliant artistic expression of this disease was portrayed by Heath Ledger’s character of The Joker in the 2008 movie The Dark Knight.

This deep disease root of Syphilis, which virtually everyone contains at least a seed of, will express itself through a number of potential homeopathic symptom pictures, as illustrated by these and other remedies:

• Aurum Metallicum (gold)
• Arenicum (Arsenic)
• Fluoric Acid (fluroide)
• Mercurius (Mercury)

Each of these toxic substances produces a homeopathic remedy capable of addressing a certain part of the Syphilis disease expression. Three of the above four substance, as it happens, are part of standard dental treatments, which is one of the more toxic branches of Allopathic medicine, and which happens to be one of the professions with the highest rate of suicide. It is no accident that such a high rate of suicide appears in a profession which is in regular contact with these medicinal substances related to the Syphilis miasm.

Looking at fluoride in this light, it becomes clear that it is a toxic substance with the potential to bring out some of the most destructive biological and psychological processes in the human organism. The very fact of how fluoride has been deviously slipped into our drinking water, is itself a very culturally syphilitic gesture which crosses lines of morality and respect for human life.

Though I excelled in the heated class discussions and provocative assignments, I knew that it was never enough to simply undermine the status quo. As a student of philosophy, I recognized the imperative to offer a viable alternative. And so, I decided to complement my critical orientation to the health sciences with a more committed role: I decided to become a physician.

My first consideration was naturopathy. It reinforced the principle I repeatedly returned to in my academic studies: “First do no harm.” Moreover, it was under the direction of a trusted naturopath that my own health started to improve. But when I asked him about his training, I realized that my experience was more of an accident than the rule. He explained that he was introduced to disparate modalities like different entrees at a buffet. With enough offerings to stimulate any palate, without a principled organization, I knew that it could never satisfy my ethical and scientific standards.

After two years of extensive research, in my fourth year of University, I found the Hahnemann College of Heilkunst. I was immediately impressed with its emphasis on mapping out the entire context in which Heilkunst is rendered meaningful. I was satisfied with the justification provided for its suitability as a framework for dynamic medicine. My studies quickly allowed me to navigate through the “natural health” field and admit only what could be supported by sound reason.

My experiences at Arcanum are a further testament to the strength of rational medicine. I now understand why solid principles are demanded by all those interested in accepting responsibility for their own health, not just burgeoning philosophy students. As the first point of contact, I interact with practitioners, students, and patients alike. A very close colleague of mine has been the recipient of two pieces “mail” recently.  First from the FDA (The United States’ Federal Drug Administration) citing the following key paragraph:

“If you are not located in the United States, please note that
unapproved, uncleared, or unauthorized products intended to diagnose,
mitigate, prevent, treat, or cure the H1 N1 Flu Virus offered for
importation into the United States are subject to detention and
refusal of admission. We will advise the appropriate regulatory or law
enforcement officials in the country from which
you operate that FDA considers your product(s) listed above to be
unapproved, uncleared, or unauthorized products that cannot be legally
sold to consumers in the United States.”

I trust that the FDA will employ a goodly number of folk to search out the massive stream of envelopes slipping through the U.S. mail system containing bio-energetically infused rice paper hearts that haven’t the capacity to cause an ounce of harm.

The second letter my colleague received is from “The Competition Bureau of Canada” on the subject of her website where she offers the H1N1 Swine Flu natural immunization:

I am writing to inform you that investigators from the Competition
Bureau (the “Bureau”) are monitoring the Internet to identify websites promoting
products to Canadians using various representations which could raise questions
under the false or misleading representations and deceptive marketing practices
provisions of the Competition Act (the “Act”). The Bureau is an independent law
enforcement agency that contributes to the prosperity of Canadians by protecting and promoting
competitive markets and enabling informed consumer choice.
Upon review of your website, XXXXXXXXXXX last week, we
noticed that you had made representations such as, but not limited to:
“FREE Swine Flu Homeopathic Immunization”
“A Remedy You Can Take Right Now To Protect You From the Swine Flu”
“Take advantage of our Free Swine Flu Natural Immunization-the safe
alternative to the swine flu shot.”
“The XXXXXXXXXX Center has a natural proprietary formula that
matches the frequency pattern of the A(HlN1) Human Swine Flu virus. It stimulates
your immune system to naturally create resistance should you be exposed to
the Swine Flu.”
These above-mentioned representations are in the form of statements
suggesting the efficacy and performance of your product, the Swine Flu Homeopathic
Immunization. Please note that section 74.03 (l)(a) of the Act
prohibits the making of false or misleading representations. Additionally, in order to comply
with section 74.01(l)(b) of the Act, these representations should be based on

adeauate and proper tests, the proof of which lies on the person making the representations.

Health-related claims, like those made on your website, must be

supported by generally accepted, competent and reliable scientific evidence

[Where is their scientific evidence?]. You should be aware
that to exaggerate the benefits of products or services or to misstate
the level of scientific support you have for your claims could also raise concerns under the
Act. Please note, under section 74.01(6) of the Act, the general impression conveyed by
these representations, as well as the literal meaning are taken into account
in determining if the representations raise questions under the Act.
It is our view that the above-mentioned representations could give the
general impression that the Swine Flu Homeopathic Immunization protects the
user from contracting the HlNl virus and is a reliable alternative to the HlNl
flu shot. Please note that we have not conducted an all-inclusive review of your
website and the products that your firm promotes. It is your responsibility to
ensure that all the products and promotions advertised by your firm comply with the Act.
This includes, but is not limited to, the promotion of products on-line, in-store
advertisements and verbal representations made during in-person consultations.
We recognize that you have taken steps to address some of the HlNl
related representations on your website, however we have concerns that you may
continue to make such representations, either on your website or through other
media. Accordingly, we are inviting you to review all of your representations and if you
do not have the scientific proof to demonstrate that your product can perform as
advertised, we request that you remove such claims from your website and stop making such
claims in any type of advertisement until you obtain adequate and proper testing in
accordance with the Act.
Please be advised that we will continue to monitor your site to assess
compliance and will take appropriate steps if non-compliance is observed.

I love how they assume their are no “adequate tests” of homeopathics.  There hasn’t been an ounce of harm caused in over 200 years.  We are not the number one killer of North Americans as per Dr. Mercola regarding prescription drugs.  We’ve called over 100 folks annually for the first 3 years to discern the efficacy of  homeopathic immunizations to discern that we tout over 98% efficacy on the basis of the law of nature without causing harm. The Centre for Disease Control can offer 15% at best!  So who is actually making false claims here?   I will allow you, our very educated community, be the judge.

I’ll leave you with a quote from Narayan Singh regarding the spiritual meaning behind the Influenza virus and I’ll look forward to hearing your comments about all of this below:

“Urban hermit.” There is an insufficient involvement and interaction, an “among us but not of
us” pattern. Underneath is a buried rage and hatred for their being so alone, alien and alienated. It
comes from a family in which they could do no right as the unrecognized and unacknowledged “family
hoist” upon whom everyone depended and whom no one supported, sustained or validated.

I was very excited to read about the rate of success of Homoprophylaxis on such a grand scale in Cuba. Politically and financially, the folks in this country don’t qualify for big Pharma solutions to a bacterial infection such as Leptospirosis, which can be problematic after flooding, so they have to find more creative and cost-effective solutions. One Homeopathic nosode (which is a remedy prepared from a product of disease such as infected tissues or the exact microbe), was provided to 2.5 million people as a safe and effective form of homeopathic vaccination.

Homeopathic remedies, including nosodes, are diluted and potentized to the point that there is only a bio-energetic memory of the disease in the water and alcohol base. The more it is diluted and succussed, the stronger the remedy becomes. When delivered on the basis of Homoprophylaxis, you are actually operating on the the law of nature, “like cures like” giving the person the experience as if they’ve already had the disease. The allopathic vaccines do the same, however, they are very costly and can cause morbific harm from live bacterias, harmful preservatives such as thimerosal, and in some cases even death.

A nosode can be sold to us Homeopaths for about $5.00 U.S. and we can graft that bio-energetic memory and give it millions of folks without causing them an ounce of harm. Shhhhh, because big Pharma gets really pissed if you tell them you can achieve much better results at a minutia of the cost. Isn’t nature wonderful?!!!

I encourage you to read the article yourself, but I will excerpt the following as it is my favourite statement:

“But this time, within 2 weeks after Aug 2007, the rising lines (of incidences of bacterial infections) literally dropped off the chart to ZERO-Ten infections only! Yes. Near-zero infections, zero deaths from leptospirosis after Aug 2007. And in 2008, no deaths, infections less than 10 a month.”

This morning, I received a few more e-mails from concerned patients who were wondering what we recommend to prevent the “Swine Flu” to prevent this alleged pandemic.  As I was going to a breakfast meeting, I happened to turn on CBC and heard the scariest voice of false authority imaginable announcing all the precautions one must take to avoid contracting this “deadly” virus, although not one confirmed case has shown up in Ottawa as of this morning. The fellow with the very deep voice said to be on the look out for symptoms of nausea especially after returning from Mexico.

With less than 100 cases in the States, the very expensive U.S. Guard has been notified even though Congress dealt with a swine flu scare a couple years back that did not materialize into anything.  And why is the military involved?  Are they going to use vaccines for ammo.?  What happens to you when you see young men and women dressed in black with helmets, shields and guns?  Does this promote a safe feeling or fear in the average North American?  Tuberculosis did more damage the year before and nobody called in the S.W.A.T. team for God’s sake!!!

As a Physician of Heilkunst medicine, it is my deepest goal to care for the health and well-being of myself, my family and my patients.  I am ordained to do this out of being wholly connected to the principles and truth with regards to this dynamic system of medicine in service to myself and those that I serve.  I recall once telling a young lifeguard that I will make the decision to swim where I wanted to and that he had no right to impose his belief structure about e-coli in the bay in the face of the capacity for my healthy immune function to over-come it.  I told him that I would take complete responsibility for my choice.  As he paced the beach, with his eyebrows furrowed, he finally called his Supervisor to “deal with me” who then threatened to call the police if I didn’t get out of the water.  I told him, I would be happy to, after I finished my last remaining 3 laps.  They watched dumbfounded that I did not acquiesce to their authority.

I would also like to introduce another time when Cholera was being studied as a potential epidemic:

“ Koch announced his discovery of the cholera vibrio in 1884. His conclusions were based upon the constant finding of the peculiar “comma bacillus” in the stools of cholera patients, and the failure to demonstrate this organism in the feces of other persons. It was not possible to reproduce typical cholera in laboratory animals. At the time the “germ theory” of disease had not yet obtained general acceptance [they eventually got this botched science through to us, though], and Koch’s announcement was received with considerable skepticism, particularly after it was found that similar “comma bacilli” could be found at times in the feces of persons not suffering from cholera, and often in all sorts of other environments – well and river waters, cheese, etc. We now know that these were saprotrophic species of Vibrio, which may be differentiated from the cholera vibrio by cultural and immunological methods [Yes, boy that is helpful in explaining away the truth]. But the correctness of Koch’s opinion was dramatically demonstrated by von Pettenkofer and Emmerich who, doubting the etiological relationship of Koch’s organisms, deliberately drank cultures of it. Von Pettenkofer developed merely a transient diarrhea, but Emmerich suffered from a typical and severe attack of cholera. ”

First amendment a last priority for some docs

If you’ve ever seen an old re-run of Dr. Marcus Welby, M.D., you probably think you’re watching a depiction of medical care not just from a different time, but a different planet. The homey, personal attentions of Dr. Welby bear absolutely zero resemblance to today’s vast and faceless medical bureaucracy that shuttles patients through the system with all the TLC of a cattle drive.

There was a time when doctors like myself were saddened by the passing of this bygone era. But it appears that the current crop of docs doesn’t share my sentimentality. Case in point… some doctors are now asking patients to sign an agreement that they won’t post negative comments about their experiences online.

That’s right: it’s a gag order to keep patients from letting other patients know that a doctor’s got a crummy bedside manner.

Neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Segal founded a company called Medical Justice to help doctors track and prevent online critiques from the patients. So far, about 2,000 doctors have signed on with Segal’s company.

If patients sign the agreement, they’re promising to refrain from posting any online comments referring to a given doctor’s “expertise and/or treatment.” Medical Justice then monitors the web and removes any online comments that violate the agreement.

If patients decide not to sign the waiver, Segal tells doctors to send them packing.

It’s all very 1984. It’s like agreeing to eat at a restaurant on the condition that you won’t tell anyone what the food is like. And I think it stinks.

Not long ago, I told you about a study of nearly 1000 breast cancer patients which revealed that about half of them said their doctor’s explanation of the condition, its diagnosis, and treatment options was insufficient, incomplete, or difficult to understand. If Dr. Segal’s company has its way, none of these women could pass on word of the shortcomings of these doctors to other potential patients.

In the last few years, the gap between doctors and their patients has widened considerably. It’s almost as though doctors believe that medicine itself has become larger than the people they’re seeking to treat.

Thankfully, some people are still determined to stand up for their rights. John Swapceinski created the web site RateMDs.com to give people the opportunity to anonymously rate their physicians. As you can imagine, Swapceinski has been pressured by doctors themselves and organizations like Medical Justice to remove negative comments — but he’s standing strong.

Doctors are “basically forcing the patients to choose between health care and their First Amendment rights,” Swapceinski correctly points out. “And I really find that repulsive.”

Swapceinski even intends to combat Segal’s Draconian patient waivers by listing the names of doctors requiring these gag orders on a “Wall of Shame” on the RateMDs web site.

AMA President Dr. Nancy Nielsen said that online doctor reviews “should certainly not be a patient’s sole source of information” when looking for a doctor.

Maybe not. But it’s certainly worth taking into account. And it’s certainly your right to do so.

Better do it now… while you still can!

Let’s start with the definition of health. Most people (who aren’t working with us) define health as an absence of symptoms, but this is a shortfall that stems from the conventional allopathic model of medicine. The trouble is, most people believe it. Have you ever heard the song that says “He gives me fever”? Think about it – would you choose an absence of symptoms such as heat, sweating, heavy breathing, mucous, inflammation, and engorged tissues during sex? Would you seek to suppress that deep yearning that courses through you to ultimately couple with your beloved? It is interesting because these symptoms are wholly desirable, in this case, but in order to achieve them, you have to work at creating these “symptoms” out of your imagination.

As an example of the opposite state, cancer has very few symptoms. In fact, the sexy inflammatory capacity has pretty much disengaged. The body sees the arch-nemesis on board in the form of cancerous cells or even a tumor, but it is so resigned, that it just doesn’t care much anymore. The immune function is on vacation. It is interesting that most folks with cancer also have little or no desire for sex. They are not able to mount the desire function or the imagination to even “get it up” or create the environment to “get it in”. I’m sure you can see the connection. In my own practice, I know that if a person has lost interest in sex, yes even if they are 85, something is up (I mean down), and we’ve got to work to provoke the inflammatory response. In other words, are they willing to get “hot” again and engage in life or is the apathy and fear going to prevail?

Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Heilkunst Medicine, understood this phenomenon. He wholly knew that health is not an absence of symptoms. Hahnemann said, “In the healthy human state, the spirit-like life force [imagination] that enlivens the material organism as dynamis [fever capacity], governs without restriction and keeps all parts of the organism in admirable, harmonious, vital [desire function] operation, as regards both feelings [love] and functions [sex], so that our indwelling, rational [thought] spirit can freely avail itself [resonance] of this living [potent], healthy instrument for the higher purposes of our existence [orgastic potency]. Yes, the bracketed words are mine, but if you read Hahnemann, you’ll know he was totally hooked to nature and her capacity for true sexual potency. If you read A Homeopathic Love Story, by Rima Handley, about Hahnemann’s marriage to Melanie, you will see what I mean. It is one of my absolute favourite books!

Dr. Wilhelm Reich also understood that the healthy functional nature of all life in human beings is driven by orgastic sexual potency. He wrote some amazing books on the subject entitled The Function of the Orgasm, The Cancer Biopathy, The Bioelectrical Investigation of Sexuality and Anxiety, Character Analysis, Listen Little Man!, and The Murder of Christ to name a few. He was the individual who said, “The pleasure of living and the pleasure of the orgasm are identical.” He also noted, about 70 years ago, that less than 1% of women were able to live in this healthy state of orgastic potency, knowing pleasure, through the function of the orgasm. Reich surmised that folks are actually more afraid of truly living than suffering, struggling or even death.

Reich also recognized that most people were only able to achieve genital climax, or ejaculation, which is centred solely in the genitals. While this is a pleasurable little “ooohh la la” moment that most people incorrectly call “orgasms”, it’s not the earth shatterin’, mind emptyin’, completely off the grid loss of consciousness where you come back re-ordered, spiritually, emotionally and physically. The feeling is that you basically flat-lined the autonomic nervous system and then the re-boot button gets pushed for you … by, well let’s say the force that animates you and made you manifest in a physical body. Some folks call it God! It is a great way to get to know the big “G-force” that ultimately hungers for you to be here, but it takes a great degree of health, courage, and imagination to completely let go to it. It is like the grand physical, emotional, and spiritual convulsion where you are so taken away on a tide of the grandest pleasure, you’re not attached to whether you come back and recover from it! A true state of mercy indeed, a “near-life” experience if you get it right. It is inflammation at it’s best!

So why don’t we more often hear of such deeply resonant sexual relationships? Dr. Reich said : “Extreme orgasm anxiety forms the basis of the general fear of life”. The unfortunate thing is that with events like 9/11, the Federal Reserve hijacking our generative creative capacity, and the diseases in our midst, we’re finding that most folk are polarized in their intellects, trying to hyper-manage every aspect of their lives from their heads. Daily, we face patients suffering from anxiety, stress, OCD and such as a result of unresolved “orgasm anxiety”. These are symptomatic of the actual “Fear”, with a capital “F”, that sits housed down in the lower pole near the sex organs, kinking your capacity for love, freedom and the beloved inflammatory response we all crave. This is the opposite state to knowing “God” and trusting in the process of the function of the orgasm.

The key lies in wiggling loose the wedge between the intellect and the sexual pole, introducing the head to the heart and to the hairy, horny bits (yes, my alliteration) and allowing them to get to know each other in a safe and healthy environment. The goal of Heilkunst treatment is to willingly invite all 3 members to wholly engage in regular conversations, dating openly and liberally and then eventually answering to each other’s calls for love and intimacy. Surprising as it may seem, many folks haven’t been engaged with all their members … well since before they were forced into toilet training, told not to touch themselves (too much and you’ll go blind!), and then grade 10 Health Class went and polished us off with the idea that abstinence makes the heart grow fonder. The goal of Heilkunst treatment is to live fully orgastically potent and we possess the functional therapeutic tools to get you there!

I hit the ground running at 6:30 a.m. this Monday morning. At the time I’m penning this, the Ottawa Bus Strike is in it’s 5oth something day which means Jeff and I are adding about 3.5 to 4 hours of driving per day on the weeks that the children are living with us. If they weren’t part-time with their Father, I would have already checked myself into Shady Acres, as there just aren’t enough homeopathic remedies to deal with this kind of stress.

At Christmas, when both the washer and dryer broke down in the same week (I even tried CPR to no avail), it temporarily sent us back into the world of the laundromat; in addition to the house’s water-pump freezing, and general heat issues in our home, it has turned into a tough little adventure for 2009. Sometimes having to reschedule at least 2 patients per day, the bus strike has indicated our income has decreased while our financial commitments have pretty much remained the same. So, of course, the first things to get shaved off the top are luxuries. Yeah, that means socializing, our wine-tasting club and even our weekly pub and a movie have been cut until further notice. I don’t know about you but after a busy week of being a working woman with a couple of hours extra driving every other day, I really like a nice little dinner, a small Guinness (high in vitamin B’s!), and a movie cuddled up next to my man. So to say the least, it has gotten a little stressful here at Arcanum Acres.

So what does a poor girl do, especially when she looks into the face of her patient who is generally looking for stress techniques for themselves. Well, the first thing is that there has to be less indiscretions when it comes to Regimen. I need to start my day with my Himalayan salts. This is a brine we may have told you about at one of the initial meetings we had. The salts come from a region on earth where there isn’t an ounce of pollution. This salt contains 89 minerals from the earth in its purest form which is easily absorbed by the body. It also helps to keep the pH levels within a slightly alkaline state and is very expansive to armored cells that may have become contracted due to dehydration, acidity, or many hours in the car.

Next, I make a shake from raw milk, a raw egg, a scoop of Dr. Mercola’s low-sugar whey shake mix, a tbsp. of my greens powder, some flax oil, and a scoop of Shaklee’s Citriboost, all in one vitamin and probiotic formula. I quickly pop my multi-vitamin, my omega oils, my cal. mag. and gulp down a tablespoon of Cod Liver Oil … yuck! I grab a mug of organic Earl Grey Cream made by Saponetta Divino, a litre of pure water, and away I go … hopefully with the kids in tow. Thankfully they made most of their lunches the night before. We do a picnic breakfast in the car en route.

If I don’t start with patients until 10:00 or 1:00 on one day, I will swim an hour at the local salt water pool or ski for 50 minutes on the trails behind our house. I also do Yamuna Ball Rolling twice per week and will either have a chiropractic adjustment by Dr. Guirguis or go for my bi-weekly massage. Amen!

I absolutely take Homeopathic remedies for stress including my emotional support for anger, grief, fear, guilt and resentment every day. I’ll also baste myself with rose oil (also from Saponetta Divino) at night for additional love and nurturing while I sleep. I will also add some Sepia if I have those feelings of living out of obligation and compliance instead of out of a bounty of love. I also use specific remedies to safely balance my hormones (including estrogen) to keep my sleep from getting out of whack.

I also see a couple of my own Heilkunst Practitioners regularly for Therapeutic Education and remediation as I’ve missed the boat a few times (imagine that!) and I have found myself riding the tide of belief. Believe me when I say that I need as much regimen, medicine and conscious de-armoring as the next person. I will also engage in Dr. Lowen’s Bio-Energetic Exercises, which I love , when I’m feeling blocked in a particular segment. There is a great one for the diaphragm that involves leaning over a bench and opening up the whole belly cavity for a flush of energy that will set me just right for hours, or even days afterwards.

Also, the best, top of the list stress technique that doesn’t cost a cent is still sex … blush, blush. The library has buckets of books on Kama Sutra (Cox), Tantric Sex (Richardson, Carellas/Sprinkle), and my all time favorite, The Multi-Orgasmic Couple (Chia/Abrams). If the descriptions don’t spice things up in the boudoir, the pictures sure as heck will. The Kama Sutra by Tracey Cox will surely delight and, oh yeah, the information is stellar and brilliantly delivered in a friendly accessible way. Believe me, I did read it after I devoured the pictures first. I caught Jeff blatantly peering over my shoulder a number of times, asking me, “how do they do that one?”

Next week, the bus strike promises to be over. I’ve learned a lot about myself during it’s mini-epoch of transit ruination that tried to romp through my quality of life. It will be interesting to see how effective my stress techniques have worked overall. I will know on the day I first see the whites of the OC Transpo bus driver’s eyes on route 69. If I am overcome with feelings to hug him or slap him, I’ll know I need to put my little head-lamp on and take an extra evening ski that night and maybe lure Jeff up early that night. Don’t get me started about our Mayor, as there may not be enough stress techniques, and besides a good slap might just do wonders.
