Are flu shots safe?
Common side-effects of the flu shot:
- Cough, wheezing, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, hoarseness, sore throat, facial swelling, fatigue
- Memory loss, Itchy rashes, Chronic fatigue
Severe reactions include:
- Guillain-Barré syndrome (auto-immune attack)
- Weakness, tingling in legs which spreads to upper body, Total Muscle paralysis, Reflexes are lost
Annual flu shots greatly increases the risk of Alzheimer’s
Contra-indications:
- Allergy to egg
- Previous reaction to the shot
- Individuals with known sensitivity to thimerosol
- During an acute illness, including fever
- During an acute phase of a neurological disorder
The flu shot has not been tested for safety during pregnancy, yet it is now
being recommended to pregnant women.
Flu shot ingredients and additives include:
- Ethylene glycol (antifreeze)
- Phenol also known as carbolic acid (this is used as a disinfectant, dye)
- Formaldehyde a known cancer causing agent
- Aluminum which is associated with Alzheimer’s disease and seizures also cancer producing in laboratory mice (it is used as an additive to promote antibody response)
- Thimerosal (used as a disinfectant and preservative) can result in brain injury and autoimmune disease
- Neomycin
- Streptomycin (used as antibiotic) has caused allergic reaction in some people
- Chick embryo, or other animal proteins, which potentially carry undetected animal viruses into the vaccine
